Elvis Presley "THE MAKING HISTORY BOX SET": Rare Photos from 1956 Ed Sullivan Show - Vintage King Pictures

This Edition Will Never Be Reprinted. Ever.

On October 28, 1956, photographer Richard Weede pointed his camera at a 21-year-old kid from Memphis who was about to change the world. The six photographs he took that night disappeared into a garage for 51 years. They nearly burned in the worst wildfires in California history.

They survived.

Now they are here. And almost gone.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN EVERY SET

— 6 never-before-seen fine art photographs of Elvis Presley backstage at The Ed Sullivan Show, October 28, 1956 — Captured by photographer Richard Weede

— raw, intimate, unguarded

— Certificate of Authenticity confirming provenance and origin — White cotton gloves for proper handling of priceless photographs

WHY THESE PHOTOGRAPHS MATTER

This was the night Ed Sullivan's censors begged Elvis to tone it down. Elvis smiled and agreed. Then he went live to 60 million Americans and did exactly what Elvis Presley always did.

But Richard Weede had already captured something nobody else had. Six photographs. Backstage. Unguarded. The real Elvis before the world lost its mind.

"Little did I realize at the time I was capturing a truly unique moment in rock and roll history." — Richard Weede
